After checkout, you’ll see live status updates (accepted, being prepared, out for delivery). For delivery orders, you’ll get real-time ETA updates.

Yes—enter your promo code at checkout. Some offers are restaurant-specific and others are MerseyEats-wide. Terms may apply and expiry dates vary.

If there’s an issue (missing item, order not received, etc.), contact us through the app or email within 24 hours. We’ll liaise with the restaurant and process eligible refunds according to our policy.

Menus include allergy info where provided by the restaurant. If you have severe allergies, please contact the restaurant directly before ordering. Mersey Eats cannot guarantee dishes are allergen-free.

A small service fee may apply to support platform and payment costs. Any fee is shown transparently at checkout before you pay.

We accept major debit/credit cards and popular digital wallets (e.g., Apple Pay / Google Pay) where available. Some restaurants may offer cash on collection.

100% of tips added at checkout are passed to the delivery partner or restaurant team fulfilling your order.

You’ll get a merchant dashboard where you can add dishes, update prices, change item availability, and upload photos in real time. You can also schedule special menus or limited-time offers.

Yes — you can create your own coupons, special deals, or participate in MerseyEats-wide promotions. Discounts help increase visibility and attract repeat customers.

Once your registration and menu details are verified, most restaurants go live within 2–3 working days. Our onboarding team helps you through each step.

No complicated setup is required. You can manage everything through the web dashboard or the merchant app (when available). A tablet or computer with an internet connection is enough — and in most cases, MerseyEats provides a dedicated device to help you receive and manage orders seamlessly.

Yes, merchants can pause incoming orders during busy hours or holidays directly from the dashboard. Customers will see your restaurant as “Closed” until you resume.

There’s a one-time setup fee of £149 + VAT, but you don’t have to pay anything upfront. To make it easier for new partners, MerseyEats deducts a small portion of this amount weekly from your payouts until it’s fully covered. After that, only a small commission per completed order applies to cover marketing, technology, and platform costs. Custom packages and reduced commissions are available for high-volume partners.

All online payments on MerseyEats are processed securely through Stripe, a trusted global payment gateway. Customers can pay using major debit and credit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay where available. Some restaurants may also allow cash on collection.

We use Stripe’s PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment system, ensuring your payment details are fully encrypted and protected. MerseyEats does not store card information on its servers — all transactions are processed securely by Stripe using advanced encryption and fraud prevention tools.

All online customer payments are collected by MerseyEats and settled to the merchant’s registered bank account on a weekly basis (typically every Monday). A detailed payment report and transaction summary are available in your merchant dashboard.

A small commission and applicable platform/service fees are automatically deducted before settlement (for merchants). Any other agreed fees (like setup fee instalments or promotional campaign contributions) will also appear transparently in your weekly payout report.

Yes. Your merchant dashboard includes a Payment History section showing every order, transaction ID, deductions, and settlement amount — ensuring full transparency for your business records.
